M Star was founded on Dennis Martin’s passion for general aviation, and his mission to make flying safe, affordable, and fun for everyone.

Dennis literally grew up on an airport in Green Bay, WI, working under the tutelage of his father, Dick Martin, a multiple award winning airplane restorer and builder. Dick taught Dennis the ins and outs of aircraft maintenance, but more importantly instilled in him the details that make one a craftsman.

Dennis earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and worked with companies such as LoPresti Aviation and Enstrom Helicopter Corporation. After nearly 20 years of traveling the world as a top executive developing new aviation products and selling aircraft Dennis left the corporate world to get back to his roots, and started M Star Aviation in Oconto, WI.

Dennis is an A&P/IA as well as a Commercial MEI/Seaplane/Helicopter pilot. He leads a team of similarly credentialed mechanics and pilots at M Star all focused on making your aircraft the best it can be.
